On Wednesday 11th Jun 2025, Natasha the Operations Manager at Changing Pathways charity joined Rumatica at Meadow Lodge to give a brief introduction to the residents before the band entertained on a glorious sunny afternoon. A great time was had by all, particularly once the Pimms had kicked in, as Rumatica played two 45 minute lively sets. £185 was raised for the charity on this occasion, we hope to support further in the future.
On Friday 23rd May, Rumatica met with Lynn Talbot who is a member of The Rotary Club of Billericay Town. Lynn is involved with raising money for charitable causes, one of those being Changing Pathways. This is a local domestic abuse charity working in South and South West Essex. They provide free and confidential support to individuals subjected to domestic abuse. Rumatica will be supporting this charity at their next performance at Meadow Lodge in June. We look forward to working with Lynn and the Rotary Club on other projects in the future
On Wednesday 30th April, Rumatica performed for the first time in a care home, the five star facility, Brentwood Arches. Music is very uplifting which was evident from the reaction, during and after, of the audience and staff in attendance. An absolute joy for us, as well taking them on a musical journey. Rumatica’s fee will be donated to St Francis Hospice, a local charity.
