Message from the Residents of Meadow Lodge

Our residents loved your performance on Wednesday as you will have seen by their participation. Some of them can hardly walk unaided but your lively and appropriate music got them on their feet even though it was the hottest day of the year.

We so enjoy the way you all join in with us after the performance to share the afternoon tea. You are a really lovely group and a great band. Thank you, on behalf of all of us at Meadow Lodge, for all that you do for local charities and for us. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

£150 was donated to Little Havens Hospice.

Superb Fund Raising Effort

News from Stephen King from the Rotary Club of Billericay: The recent Garden Party Event with Rumatica performing collected a total of £1594 which will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society and Little Haven's Hospice. This was made up of £1000 in donations, £414 from the Raffle and £180 Gift Aid. The Rotary Club are also claiming some funding from Rotary International and there are further funds from Val Jone's plant sales. 

Rumatica Rock the Rotary Garden Party

A great Sunday afternoon at the Rotary Club of Billericay Summer garden party held in the beautiful grounds of Ivy Cottage Little Burstead. Funds raised are being donated to Little Havens Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Society. Rumatica played two 45 minutes sets of 60’s and 70’s classic hits.
