What People Are Saying ......

From the Chief Executive of the Alzheimer's Society

"I wanted to let you know, personally, how grateful I am to you for giving to the Alzheimer's Society. Your generosity has already had a beneficial and positive impact on people living with dementia right now, and it could lead to life-changing research breakthoughs in the future.

... I know many people are going through similar and much harder things right now, especially with the cost of living crisis, and your gift helps make sure they don't have to cope on their own,

You're part of a special community of supporters looking out for people living with dementia. By helping to provide services like Dementia Advisors, support line amd local groups, you're helping people living with the condition live the best lives they can."

Meadow Lodge, Billericay
"We absolutely loved the performance from Rumatica. Your music was so suitable to the age group of our residents from whom I have had nothing but praise. Please pass on our grateful thanks to all of your group. You are such a lovely selfless group of musicians and we really admire the way that you are raising funds for charities whilst clearly enjoying playing together. We certainly would appreciate another booking."
Sue Burton, Founder & Manager
Remus Horse Sanctuary

"It was lovely to meet you all on Monday and to be able to show you around.

It is so kind of you to make such a generous donation to the Sanctuary, which will help our work in caring for the 100 plus animals at the Sanctuary and help with our outside welfare work.

I have put the photo you sent and a shout out to your band for the kind donation that you made

We would love to do an event with you in the future and will start thinking of ideas

Thank you so much for your kindness and support."

From Caroline, Organiser of St Catherines Church, Wickford, fundraiser

Thank you and all of the band for a fantastic afternoon. We have had lots of great feedback.
We took £650 and some donations on line.
Many thanks again and look forward to seeing you sometime in the future.

Men's Supper Club at Billericay Methodist Church

Many thanks again for a superb evening. Our audience thoroughly enjoyed it, and we have had excellent feedback. As mentioned, I will take this to my next Lions Club meeting and, hopefully, we may well be able to arrange a further performance in due course.

Meanwhile, thank you for sending the receipt from Dementia UK, and so glad that we were able to make these donations to both well deserving causes.

Chanelle Wilson, Director of Clinical Services, Havens Hospice.

We want to confirm that we have received your incredibly kind donation of £105.00 today. We know it’s tough for people right now, but every gift that you make will have an immediate impact on our hospice care.

It sounds like a cliché, but every pound really is 'Making every day count' for those we are caring for today, and those we will meet in the future too. Your donation is helping provide nursing care, but also creating friendships, understanding, a place to belong and to have safe and difficult conversations.

So, on behalf of our Care Team and families, thank you again for your donation. We couldn’t do this without your support.

From June, Fox Hatch WI

Thank you all so much. You were all fantastic and certainly made the evening go with a swing.
Best wishes to you all.  You are doing a great job.

From Jane, Stock Over 60's Club.

It was a wonderful day, our members enjoyed it so much! You are a talented bunch of musicians and we really appreciate your time and effort. We would of course love to have you again, a few of the members asked if you could come every week!!!
